How we work
At Super Interactive, we work in Design Sprints, which allows us to fully immerse ourselves into your project. Sprints come in 3 sizes, short, medium and long. During these sprints we dedicate every minute of our workweek to your project to get the results you need.
Due to the limited duration, usually one to two weeks, a controlled sense of urgency is created. This not only accelerates the innovation process but also helps to keep the focus sharp and prioritise effectively.
Depending on the length of the sprint we'll go from writing use cases and mapping user journeys, to creating wireframes and prototypes. The longer the sprint, the more extensive the final product will be. It's all up to you.
What a 1-week Design Sprint looks like
Our shortest Design Sprint is a perfect service for brands wanting to solve relatively small problems in a short time, such as existing components that need work, UX that needs looking at or brand new landing pages for your next campaign. Your brand guidelines are all there and ready for us to use. Here's what an average 1 week Sprint looks like:
Monday
At our office, you'll brief your project to us and we'll discuss, for example, OKR's and use cases. Knowing what users need from your product is fundamental to the process and it helps us design the right solution to your problem.
Tuesday - Wednesday
We'll be busy building the best possible UX based on Monday's input. This means we're wireframing new or adjusted components and/or pages that will help steer users in the right direction, and, therefore, help you complete your goals. By the end of Wednesday, we'll present our work to you, take in your feedback, and push on to UI.
Thursday - Friday
The last 2 days are all about UI. When everything went according to plan, we'll turn our wireframes into (non-usable) prototypes using your brand's style guide or brand guidelines. On Friday, we'll see you back at our office and we'll present our UI to you while we look back at a successful Design Sprint.
What a 2-week Design Sprint looks like
This medium length Sprint is an excellent service for brands that need complete but relatively small websites, build from the ground up. Starting with a new or adjusted strategy, going through use cases and use journeys, and finally, delivering a complete design. Your brand guidelines are all there and ready for us to use, but we've got the time to add to it if that's what your digital product needs. Here's what an average 2 week Design Sprint looks like:
Week 1
On Monday you'll brief your project to us at our office and throughout the day, we'll dive into your OKR's, use cases, site map, required features and more. As with our 1 week Sprint, your user's needs are at the very core of the process. We'll also talk about your brand guidelines and wether it will need some adjusting to properly work online.
For the remaining part of week 1, we'll be crafting optimal UX based on Monday's input, wireframing every feature, page and step your user needs to complete his or her goals. We'll present our work to you at least ones, giving you space to leave you feedback with us and using your expertise to test the results.
Week 2
Week 2 is all about user interface, using your brand style to turn our wireframes into a (non-usable) prototype. We'll use the first day of week 2 to go through your brand guidelines and add or adjust if needed. When your guidelines are complete, we'll start with UI right away. We'll collect feedback from you mid-week, and present the results at our office on Friday with drinks and bites, celebrating a successful Sprint.
What a 4-week Design Sprint looks like
Our 4 week Design Sprint is here for brands that are in need of an extensive collaboration to build or rebuild their organisation. Brand guidelines, style guides, component libraries, flexible content, decisive strategy, user research, usable prototypes and more. It won't get better than this. Here's what an average 4-week Design Sprint looks like:
Week 1
On Monday, we'll kick-off our Sprint with - you guessed it - you briefing your project to us. We'll want to make sure that we've got all the info we need to proceed into the weeks to come, diving into your goals and ambitions, writing down preferences and requirements, and talking about your users more than ever.
For the remaining part of week 1, we'll be busy getting to know your users; writing use cases, creating user journeys, and setting up the best possible structure for your user and for you.
We'll see you back at the office on Friday, where we'll present our user research to you and collect feedback.
Week 2
In our second week we'll put our knowledge to the test and build the best possible user experience, ensuring every part of your product is there to support your users, and, at the same time, helping you to achieve your goals. We'll present our work on multiple occasions and will see you back at the office once again on Friday, where talk about our progress and look back at the first 2 weeks.
Week 3
Here we are. We've completed our user research and UX, and are now very much ready for the very thing that helps us translate it to our final product: your brand guidelines. We'll use your input from week 1 to build you a custom brand style for your digital product, talking to each other frequently to ensure everything is right were you want it to be.
Week 4
With the start of week 4, things are getting very exciting. Using everything we've learned and crafted so far, we're ready to dive into UI. Combining UX and brand guidelines to create your product's brand new user interface. Celebrating this milestone, the final product, we'll come together one last time for drinks and bites, looking back at a successful 4 week Design Sprint and collaboration.
What we need from you
It's a highly effective way of working, but we do need your help. Sprints are teamwork, and we need you and your team to be available as much as you can to ensure good results within the sprint's runtime. Make sure to:
Involve stakeholders.
Everyone person of your team is an expert in their field and holds valuable information for us to work with.
Clear your schedule
Your availability is fundamental to the success of our Design Sprint. Make sure you've got the time to meet us at the office or jump in calls to keep momentum.
Take note of feedback deadlines
Providing us with feedback within our deadlines helps us build your product in time and therefore helps us launch your product within the agreed window.
Retro(party) with us!
It's important to look back at our collaboration and celebrate success.
