What is OpenGDS?
OpenGDS provides APIs for accommodation availability, rates, inventory and reservations. It is relevant when you want to build your own search or booking interface on top of OpenGDS data.
A starting price differs from the total for chosen dates and party size. The latter needs the right rates, supplements and conditions before someone reserves.

How do I connect OpenGDS to my website?
The OpenGDS Core API retrieves availability, rates and supplements and can submit new reservations. Secure requests need a private key used only on the server, with approved server IP addresses.
OpenGDS warns against using the Core API to copy rate and inventory data into your own database; it provides a Push API for that. Use the Core API for a search or calendar and recheck the selected stay before reservation.
