What is Mollie?
Mollie processes online payments for shops and other websites. You can send customers from checkout to a payment page or share a payment link when they need to pay later.
A browser can return before the final payment status is known. Mollie sends a webhook when the status changes; your site then retrieves the current payment. An order stays pending until the payment is complete.

How do I connect Mollie to my website?
For immediate checkout, your site creates a payment through Mollie’s Payments API and sends the customer to its checkout URL. The Payment Links API is a separate option for an invoice or later payment.
A webhook signals a change. Your server retrieves the payment and uses its current status to update the order. The return page tells customers what is known, even while payment is pending.
