What is Klarna?
Klarna Payments offers options such as paying later or in instalments, depending on market and account. You can offer Klarna through an ecommerce platform or payment provider, or build a direct integration with the Klarna Payments API.
In a direct integration, Klarna first authorises the purchase. You then use the authorisation token to create the Klarna order. Both steps must refer to the same shop order.

How do I connect Klarna to my website?
Many shops can offer Klarna through a platform plugin or payment provider. For direct Klarna Payments, you create a session and display the payment options at checkout.
After selection, Klarna authorises the purchase. Successful authorisation returns a token your server uses to create the Klarna order. Further handling takes place through Klarna Order Management or Merchant Portal, depending on your setup.
